Valle del Belice. Relatively deep alluvial based soils of medium texture with a mix of limestone and sand. Dark soils with a good content of organic matter.

Tasting notes
Intense purplish black with violet hues. Evident aromas of violet and blackcurrant enriched by hints of liquorices and black pepper. The mouth is full and the tannins are well balanced by a round body with a toasted and spicy finish.
Food pairings
To be served with matured cheese, it also particularly suits game and gravy sauces.. Serve at 14-16°C
