Area of ​​origin

Valle del Belice. Relatively deep alluvial based soils of medium texture with a mix of limestone and sand. Dark soils with a good content of organic matter.


Argilloso Limoso


Viognier specifically selected from vineyards at elevation with east facing slopes to minimize exposure to the hot afternoon sun. Cold skin contact at 4°C prior to pressing and fermentation at cold temperatures to maintain fruit freshness and varietal character.

Tasting notes

Brilliant yellow straw with olive hues. Lifted tropical melon and candied fruits are supported by intense mango, kiwi and honeysuckle on the palate. The natural acidity provides structure and freshness to the complex array of sweet tropical fruits.

Food pairings

This Viognier is well recommended with raw seafood such as sushi and oysters, prawn salad dressed with olive oil. To be matched as well with fresh cheeses and spicy bread. Serve at 10-12°C.
