Area of origin
Valle del Belice. Relatively deep alluvial based soils of medium texture with a mix of limestone and sand. Dark soils with a good content of organic matter.
Cold maceration for 24 hours and fermentation at 12° C for 20 days to maintain the aromas.
Brilliant pink with red hues. Lifted red cherry and redcurrant nose also reminding wild berries. In the mouth upfront fruit sweetness of cherry and strawberry cream with floral notes and refreshing acidity. To be enjoyed very fresh during spring and summer.
Pesto pasta, grilled red meat, aged cheeses, sicilian pecorino. Serve at 10-12°C
